Discovery Day
An in-person visit to the franchisor's headquarters where prospective franchisees meet leadership and learn about the brand firsthand.
Discovery Day is typically one of the final steps in the franchise buying process. Prospective franchisees visit the franchisor's home office to meet the executive team, tour facilities, ask detailed questions, and get a feel for the corporate culture. It's a mutual evaluation — the franchisor is assessing you as much as you're assessing them. Attending Discovery Day does not obligate you to sign a franchise agreement, but it's generally expected before a final award decision.
