Franchisor
The company that owns the franchise brand and licenses the right to operate under its system.
The franchisor is the parent company that develops the business model, brand identity, and operating systems that franchisees follow. Franchisors are responsible for providing initial training, ongoing support, marketing programs, and maintaining the quality and consistency of the brand. The franchisor's financial health, litigation history, and track record with existing franchisees are critical factors to evaluate during due diligence.
