Home-Based Franchise
A franchise business model designed to be operated from the franchisee's home rather than a commercial location.
Home-based franchises typically have lower initial investments because they eliminate the need for retail space, buildout, and associated overhead. Common examples include cleaning services, consulting, tutoring, and digital marketing franchises. While the lower entry cost is attractive, prospective buyers should still evaluate the franchise carefully and understand that some home-based franchises may require a vehicle, storage space, or a dedicated home office. Revenue potential and unit economics may differ significantly from brick-and-mortar models.
