Single-Unit Franchise
A franchise agreement granting the right to operate one individual franchise location.
A single-unit franchise is the most common entry point for new franchisees. The franchisee purchases the rights to open and operate one unit in a specified location or territory. This approach allows first-time franchise owners to learn the system, build operational skills, and prove the model before potentially expanding to additional units. Many multi-unit operators started with a single-unit agreement before acquiring additional locations.
